I love that tea is a universal comfort drink. Hearing the word tea immediately soothes my holistic nutritionist and herb-loving, soul. It also makes me want to get cozy and read a good book or put on a Jude Law movie (if you know, you know). This fresh ginger tea recipe is not only easy, but it’s also healthy, and so delicious.

    Ginger Tea Recipe Ingredients

    • 2 cups water
    • 1 inch fresh Ginger, sliced
    • 1 lemon, sliced (optional)

    How To Make Ginger Tea

Step 1: Add the water into a small pot on the stove over medium-high heat. Add the sliced ginger into the pot.

Step 2: Bring the water to a boil. Reduce the heat and allow the water to simmer, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes (the longer the water simmers, the stronger the tea will be).

Step 3: Once the tea has simmered, pour it through a sieve and remove the ginger slices.

    • You can add cinnamon sticks, fresh mint, oranges, nutmeg, or any other flavorings. Simply add one of these choices into the water and simmer alongside the ginger.
    • Enjoy this ginger tea hot or cold

    Expert Tips & Tricks
