    Easy Beet Smoothie

Can we talk about the color of this detoxifying beet smoothie for a second? It’s so pretty! This beet smoothie recipe detoxifies your body and strengthens your immune system. Beets are also a great source of fiber, vitamin c, iron, and potassium.

This delicious and nutritious smoothie also includes mango, strawberry, and banana for added health benefits and taste. This easy beet smoothie will be in your smoothie rotation for a long long time - trust me.

    Recipe Ingredients

    detoxifying beet smoothie recipe ingredients

½ cup cubed beets (about 1 small beet)

    ½ cup frozen mango

    1 cup frozen strawberries

    1 banana

½ cup dairy free vanilla yogurt

    ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk

What Fruit Goes Well With Beets?

Beets have a mild flavor which makes them easy to pair with any fruit. You can use pineapple in place of mango if desired, or a berry blend in place of the strawberries. You can also add spinach to this smoothie.

    Expert Tips & Tricks

    • The beets should be uncooked.
    • You can use yogurt with dairy and regular milk if you are not dairy free.
    • Feel free to add more almond milk if your smoothie is too thick. You can also start with less almond milk if you like a thicker smoothie.
    • If you’ve already made the smoothie but want it to be thicker, you can also add more frozen mango or frozen strawberries
    • If you want a sweeter smoothie, you can add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.

Step 1: Add all of the ingredients into the blender and blend until fully combined.

Do I Have To Peel The Beets Before Blending?

Yes. Make sure your beet is peeled and cut into cubes before putting it into the blender.
