    Two-ingredient edible flower popsicles

You mean I can eat flowers?

Yes, you can! Best news EVER.

There are only two ingredients to these beauties.

    1. Lemon lime soda
    2. Edible flowers

I'm on a roll with the two ingredient recipes lately.

Make sure to use a good popsicle mold. I use this one and love it! Gives your frozen treats that classic shape. I also use these wooden popsicle sticks.

    Where to buy edible flowers

You do need to find good edible flowers to make these flower popsicles. For these popsicles I used:

    • roses
    • marigolds
    • nasturtiums
    • geraniums

My local grocery store carries them in small packages in their specialty section.

How do I know which flowers are safe to eat and use for flower popsicles?

Here is a list I've found that are good for cooking and baking, along with precautions you should take when eating flowers and their petals. Make sure you use flowers that are not treated with harmful chemicals and pesticides. You can also use flowers you grow yourself, if you've taken the necessary steps to make sure they are chemical-free and edible grade.

Wouldn't these flower popsicles be adorable for a bridal shower, baby shower, or a girly birthday party? Or anything with a floral theme? I wish I could obnoxiously decorate my house in florals from floor to ceiling sometimes, like those kitschy houses belonging to elderly spinster women. I see it in my future—more flower power to me!

Grab the insanely easy recipe for these lemon lime edible flower popsicles below, and enjoy!

You've got the power to make these lemon lime edible flower popsicles. They are a beautiful, simple treat for a party or shower, and take just 5 minutes to make! Vegan, gluten-free.
    Prep Time 5 minutes
    Cook Time 6 hours
Total Time 6 hours 5 minutes
    Servings: 10 flower popsicles
    Calories: 41kcal

    Ingredients

    • 1 liter lemon lime soda
    • 1 package edible flowers
    • Popsicle mold
    • Wooden popsicle sticks

    Instructions

    • Place 2-3 edible flowers in each mold. Try to lodge them in-between the sides of the mold so they stay in place when soda is added.
    • Fill each mold with soda up to the top line. Allow the carbonation to settle, and top off as needed.
    • Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight. When ready to remove popsicles, run warm water over the mold for about 30 seconds, then pull straight up to ensure a clean mold. Serve immediately and enjoy!
