Recipe Tips for the Best Homemade Chili Sauce

    • I used Tabasco hot sauce as my hot sauce of choice.
    • You can replace the hot sauce with chili powder if you’d prefer. In that case, use 1-2 teaspoon instead of 1-2 tbsp
    • Some recipes include cloves, cinnamon, or nutmeg, which would be delicious options too!
    • For a different sugar option, you can use brown coconut sugar if desired.

    How to Serve

There are so many uses for homemade chili sauce. Here are a few ideas:

    • Serve with tacos, quesadillas, nachos, or burritos
    • In soup or chili
    • As an ingredient in homemade BBQ sauce
    • As a marinade for your favorite meat, tofu, or vegetables
    • A dip for chips or a grilled cheese sandwich
