More specifically frozen pizza! Today I am sharing the best gluten free frozen pizza 3 ways! It's a quick dinner hack that gives you fresh options and it's ready in under 20 minutes. How to make the best gluten free frozen pizza 3 ways
We like to do pizza night once a week, where we make a pizza bar with various flavors and add our own toppings.
First up you need yourself some good quality gluten free frozen pizzas. I am partnering with Freschetta and used the Freschetta Gluten Free pizzas in the Four Cheese and Pepperoni flavors. I did my research to make sure these are legit. They use 100% real cheese, have delicate, flaky crusts that are free of preservatives, and are certified by the National Celiac Association. High five!
Next you need the toppings! I love these frozen pizzas as a super yummy and easy base to build on. You don't even realize they are gluten free, and I know this because my family devoured all the slices! Perfectly crisp, cheesy, and full of flavor.
For these three we chose to do a cheese pizza, veggie pizza, and pepperoni and olives.
Cheese is obviously a no-brainer. Just throw that bad boy in the oven and bake!
But I was very intentional with the other toppings!
Roasted gluten free veggie pizza
Here's what you need:
- Freschetta Gluten Free Four Cheese pizza - an easy, clean palette to build upon!
- Zucchini - this is a good anti-inflammatory food because it's high in fiber and hydrating. Eat the skin and the seeds to soak in all those nutrients! A study also showed that they help in thyroid regulation.
- Bell peppers - also hydrating and full of antioxidants, good for you gut and thyroid.
- Mushrooms - these are full of a selenium, a trace mineral, which helps improve thyroid function. They are also full of beta glucans which have prebiotic properties and can improve growth of good bacteria in your gut.
Gluten free pepperoni and olives pizza
Here's what you need:
- Freschetta Gluten Free Pepperoni Pizza - again, your beginning canvas!
- Castelvetrano green olives - the best olives you will ever eat! This is not an exaggeration. They are from Sicily and are renowned for legit being some of the world's best tasting olives. I buy mine fresh from a specialty store, and they are WORTH IT. Plus they make your pepperoni and olive pizza look beautiful
- Honey - oh yes! This is the treat on top. Mixes together with the salty flavors of the cheese, pepperoni and olives, and tastes like a little slice of heaven.
How to make a pizza bar
I use this time to prep dinner with my kids. It's an easy way to get them involved in the kitchen. They help spread on the various toppings, then we cook them all together in the oven. Overall, the entire process takes under 25 minutes. We then lay everything out on the table and select the slices we want!
