This One Pot Homemade Chicken Noodle Alphabet Soup is Fun!
I mean, who doesn't love to play with their food? My boys are ages five and three, so learning words and letters while eating is pretty much the most awesome thing in the world. (And I am highly amused by seeing what each spoonful spells. I'm a kid at heart myself.) Honestly though, my five-year-old asks for this soup for lunch and dinner EVERY day now.
This soup takes 35 minutes to make from beginning to end—all in one pot! Also, it makes an enormous batch, so you can freeze a portion for dinner at a later date. (I'm looking at you superhero freezer mom types.) Or eat it for lunch a few days after. I'm convinced homemade soup gets better the longer it sits and marinates in all the savory flavors.
Looking for alphabet pasta noodles? I use these little fellas. And don't forget to make Lion House dinner rolls to go with the soup! This is the recipe I use for those of you who asked on Instagram a few days ago.

Amy says
Is the chicken cooked already when added? Or added raw?
The Butter Half says
Hey Amy! It's raw chicken. However, you could easily use a cooked rotisserie chicken for this, too.
