If you don't drink, but still want to look sophisticated this holiday season with a fancy beverage in hand, this pomegranate mojito mocktail is for you! It's the perfect blend of sweet and tart flavors. And do I even need to mention how gorgeous it is?
Serve This Pomegranate Mojito Mocktail at Your Parties
I made this drink with Thanksgiving in mind, but it clearly looks more like a Christmas or New Year's beverage. However, this is definitely something you should serve at all holiday dinners and parties! Your guests will be pleased as punch with this beautiful refresh-mint. (That's a solid pun right there.)
I tried out the recipe with my little guys as the critics, and I can confidently say it's kid-tested, mother-approved. Also, it only takes about five minutes to make!
You can create a bar station for Thanksgiving guests, both small and grown, to make their own pomegranate mojito mocktail. And then pull everything out a few weeks later for your Christmas parties and dinners! It's one less thing to worry about, and we all need to simplify our lives during the holidays, right?
If you're on the hunt for clean and elegant highball glasses, I recommend these crystal glasses. Sparkling gold flatware is also essential for a holiday dinner, and this set from Anthropologie is lovely.
I really hope you try out this pomegranate mojito mocktail! Grab the recipe below and enjoy.
Holiday Pomegranate Mojito Mocktail
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup water
- 4 lime wedges
- 10 mint leaves
- 4 ounces pomegranate juice
- 8 ounces club soda
- Pomegranate seeds
- 2 highball glasses
- In a small sauce pan, heat the water and sugar over high heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil. Set aside and let it cool.
- Place two lime wedges, five mint leaves and half of the simple syrup mixture in each glass. Muddle the ingredients together to infuse the flavors. Add in the ice and pomegranate seeds. Then, pour two ounces of pomegranate juice in each glass, followed by about four ounces of club soda. Stir well.
- Garnish the tops of the drinks with extra mint and pomegranate seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Is there any substitutions that can be made to make this sugar free?
This recipe is PERFECT for my festive hot tub party! Thanks so much for sharing it, I can't wait to impress my guests.
