    The key to the perfect grilled cheese sandwich

    The trick is laying multiple layers of cheese, and adding in the honey glazed pears in the middle. You want it to be beautifully crispy on the outside, and oozing with goodness on the inside. The pears and the honey are the perfect sweet balance to the tart and sharp taste of the cheeses and sourdough bread. It's a symphony of flavors in your mouth! And do be sure to glaze extra honey on the outside, or better yet, just dip it in honey with every bite! SO GOOD.

    Brie And Cheddar Grilled Cheese With Honey Glazed Pears

    This brie and cheddar grilled cheese with honey glazed pears is the perfect flavor combination of sweet and savory. And the ooey-gooey melted cheese is the ultimate comfort food.

    Cook Time 10 minutes
    Total Time 20 minutes
    Servings: 1 serving
    Calories: 1420kcal

    Ingredients

    • 2 slices sourdough bread
    • 1 tablespoon salted butter
    • 6 slices sharp cheddar cheese
    • 1 oz Brie cheese
    • ½ pear thinly sliced
    • 2 tablespoons honey

    Instructions

    • Butter your sourdough slices and place them in a heated skillet. Layer in half of the cheddar cheese slices. Add the pears, 1 tablespoon honey, and Brie in the middle. Top with remaining cheddar slices and bread.
    • Cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side until the bread is crispy and the cheese melts in the middle.
    • Cut in half and drizzle with the remaining honey. Serve immediately while warm and gooey. Enjoy!
