Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor
  • 1 Cheesecloth
  • 1 Strainer

Ingredients

  • 1 large pineapple
  • ¼ cup water (you can use coconut water instead of water if you prefer)

Instructions

  • Core and peel the pineapple. Cut the pineapple into cubes.
  • Add the cubed pineapple and water into a food processor or blender. Blend for a few minutes until the mixture is completely smooth.
  • Position a colander over a large bowl, then line the colander with a cheesecloth. Pour the pineapple juice into the cheesecloth. Gather the ends of the cheesecloth and squeeze to extract as much juice as possible.
  • Pour into glasses to serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can add other flavors such as cherries, oranges, limes, etc  into the blender to create flavored pineapple juice
  • If you like pulp you do not need to strain the juice
  • Will stay good in the fridge for 3 days
  • You can use coconut water in place of water if you’d prefer
  • Choose a pineapple that is slightly yellow and smells sweet. You can also pull some of the fronds off of the top. If they break off easily, the pineapple is ready.
