Sweet and Creamy Cinnamon Date Shake

My husband convinced me to try my hand at creating a drool-worthy date milkshake. He travels to the Palm Springs area, date capital of the world, for work and always raves about the shake at Hadley's farm.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 4-5 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  • Puree the dates and water in a food processor until it forms a paste, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the date paste, ice cream, milk, and cinnamon to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into glasses, add a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve immediately and enjoy.
