Black Bean Gluten-Free Vegan Brownies
Satisfy your sweet tooth with these black bean gluten-free vegan brownies. There are no refined sugars, and they are rich, decadent, and made with pure ingredients.

- 15 oz canned black beans rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup flaxseed meal
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Combine all the ingredients, except chocolate chips, and blend them in a food processor or blender until you have smooth batter. Pour into a greased 8x8 pan, and completely cover the batter with the chocolate chips. (This part is the trick to getting them nice and chocolatey, so liberally spread the chocolate chips!)
Bake for 30 minutes, and enjoy with a big glass of almond milk!
