Beetroot Juice Recipe:  How to Make Beetroot Juice

- 14 oz medium beets (weighed without leaves or peels), washed, peeled, and cut into eighths (about 7 small beets) - 1 cup water

Step 1: Add the beets into the blender along with ½ cup of water.

Step 2: Run the blender for 3-5 minutes, until the beets are completely broken down and the mixture is in a slushy-like consistency. If you need to add more water to get the right texture, you can do so!

Step 3: Place a colander over a bowl. Then line the colander with cheesecloth. Pour the beet juice into the colander, using the cheesecloth to catch any large pieces. Strain the juice until just the beet juice is left in the bowl below.

Step 4: Serve and enjoy!
